KPMG LLP names Kevin Martinez to lead corporate citizenship

Kevin Martinez, 46, has joined KPMG LLP, the U.S. audit, tax and advisory firm, in the newly created position of executive director, corporate citizenship, according to an announcement by Jack Taylor, executive vice chair, operations, KPMG LLP. Martinez, most recently vice president of community affairs at Home Depot and president of The Home Depot Foundation, will be responsible for directing KPMG’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) agenda and activities, including community involvement, charitable giving, environmental, pro bono, and volunteerism programs. He is also charged with maintaining alignment of KPMG’s internal and external CSR mission, objectives and achievements. Martinez will additionally chair the firm’s newly established Corporate Citizenship Steering Committee.

Body Shop’s Bill Eyres to join O2

O2 is embarking on a major drive to highlight its corporate responsibility (CSR) credentials and has appointed The Body Shop’s global comms director to oversee the activity. Ethical heavyweight Bill Eyres joins as head of corporate responsibility, environment and sustainability after seven years of working closely with the late Anita Roddick on CSR initiatives. He reports to O2 comms director Glenn Manoff.
