Ethics and Finance

March 28, 2007

The title of this book could be misleading, as the authors themselves admit that it is by no means a definitive text on ethical theories of business and their financial ramifications. However, this 2007/08 edition does offer an accessible, easy-to-read guide to the practical implications of such theories, using case studies and probing questions to help financiers, managers, regulators and employees draw their own conclusions about what it means to “do the right thing” in a modern business context. Handy speed-read summaries also provide an option for the more time-strapped reader and offer a useful way of picking out relevant sections to read
in more depth.
